Doctor of Philosophy in Education offers opportunity to all academicians or individuals who possessed master degrees related to education to further develop exploration and research in relevant field, which in line with the current issues and development in the world of education. Moreover, students will be exposed to skills in embarking a research both theoretically and practically in order to provide solutions on related issues or research problems.
Admission Requirements
Malaysian Students
A Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP’s Senate; OR
Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree, as accepted by the HEP Senate.
International Students
International students must obtain at least a minimum English Language entry requirement;
Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Test iBT 33.;OR
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Band 4.5, OR
Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 3.0
If not available, candidates should attend English Language course in UIS or in any institutions to obtain minimum entry requirement.
