Master in Communication is a research degree with the aim of producing a research thesis after undergoing continuous training and supervision within a stipulated period. The work of the Master of Communication Students is expected to make a significant contribution to the communication field. Students will have the opportunity to enhance their comprehensive knowledge and skills in their respective fields of study, sharpening their research expertise, as well as being professional as future media or industry administrator and practitioner by mastering knowledge in the local and international media and communication fields. Through this programme, you are also able to apply research and writing skills in the media and communication fields.
Admission Requirements
Malaysian Students
A Bachelor's Degree in related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 from institutions recognized by UIS, or;
A CGPA between 2.50 and 2.75 and a pass in an internal assessment, or;
A CGPA of below 2.50 with 5 years of working experience in the relevant field, or;
International Students
International students need to meet the English requirements with a minimum score of 600 for Test as English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) OR a score of 6.0 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
