The Halal industry is also gaining acceptance by non -Muslims as a business opportunity and lifestyle today. The program is developed to produce experts in various halal fields whether food and beverage, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, logistics, Muslim hospitality and the like, with the ability to create solutions to the community, in line with Islamic teachings. Admission Requirements
Malaysian Students
Passed Sijil Tinggi Pelajaran Malaysia (STPM) or equivalent with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in 2 subjects and passed Mathematics and English at SPM level; OR
Passed Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) at Jayyid level and passed Mathematics and English at SPM level; OR
Passed Matriculation/ Foundation from any HEP with a CGPA of 2.00; OR
Passed a Diploma (Level 4 MQR) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; OR
Other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
International Students
International students must achieve a minimum score of 5.5 in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or equivalent.
Career Prospect
Be an Executive of Halal, Procurement, Research and Development (R&D), Quality Assurance (QA), Operations and others to any company or premise of production and preparation of food products, non-food and services based on shariah principles .
Be an auditor, trainer, consultant, researcher or planner to any institution of the premises of production and preparation of food products, non-food and services.
To be a professional and competitive Halal industry entrepreneur while practicing the principles of Islamic entrepreneurship in business.
