Master Economics is an extension from the Bachelor of Economics and Finance (Hons). This program enhances in research field that involves the continuous training and supervision within a specified period of time. The outcome is expected to make a significant contribution to their chosen thrust areas. Through this program, students have the opportunity to improve their knowledge and skills in their respective fields of study, sharpen their research expertise, as well as be professional as administrators and industry players in the future.

Malaysian Students
  • A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 as accepted by the HEP Senate;

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and 2.75 can be accepted, subject to rigorous internal assessment;

  • A Bachelor’s degree (Level 6, MQF) in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted, subject to a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience and rigorous internal assessment;

International Students
  • For international students, an additional requirement is to minimum scoring 600 for Test as English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), OR; minimum score of 6.0 for The International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
