The program is designed to meet the needs of the computer science workforce in various sectors and industries. The program covers theoretical and practical aspects individually and in groups that are reinforced by an appreciation of ethics and manners.

• Pass Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least 3 credits including Mathematics; or

• Pass Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) with at least Grade B in 3 subjects including Mathematics; or

• Pass O-Level with at least Grade C in 3 subjects including Mathematics; or

• Pass SKM Level 3 in related field; AND pass SPM with at least credit in Mathematics; or

• Pass Sijil Kolej Komuniti which is equivalent to Level 3 MQF in related field; AND pass SPM with at least credit in Mathematics; or

• Pass other qualifications which are equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF) AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level;

  Note: Candidates who do not score credit in Mathematics at SPM level is eligible to apply provided that the certificate program contains Mathematics subject which is equivalent to the one at SPM level;

• Pass STPM or equivalent with at least Grade (NGMP 2.0) in one (1) subject; AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level; or

• Pass STAM with level Maqbul; AND credit in Mathematics at SPM level; or

• Other qualifications recognised equivalent.

Note:
Priority is given to candidates who score credit in the field of computing at SPM level or equivalent.
