The program is devoted to training potential teachers, to obtain minimum academic qualification of the Diploma in Teaching (Islamic Education) for all potential teachers in Malaysia. The program of study offered aims to provide professional knowledge and provide experience to enable teachers to have basic knowledge and skills related to the teaching profession.

Diploma in Teaching (Islamic Education) is organized in accordance with universal education-oriented teaching techniques as well as the development of extensive self-esteem in line with the needs of the education industry.

• Passed the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) with three (3) credits including Malay, Islamic Sharia/Al-Quran As-Sunnah/Islamic Knowledge/Higher Islamic Knowledge/Islamic Education and PASS Arabic/Arabic Communication / Advanced Arabic or pass STAM/STU/STASPA/ Rabi' Thanawi; OR

• Passed the Malaysian Higher Secondary School Certificate (STPM) with a full passed in two (2) subjects including the Shariah/Usuluddin subject and a partial pass in the Arabic subject; OR

• Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian Government.
