The Executive Diploma in Zakat Management program has been established to produce Muslim professionals who have skills in managing zakat fund. These zakat fund needs to be managed systematically and effectively so that it can be a source of economic strength for Muslims. This program will be offered for admission in Session I 2023/2024. The graduates who are produced by this program are expected to have better understanding in hukm related to zakat and how the zakat fund has been managed effectively by modern zakat institutions. Additionally, the graduates should be able to demonstrate the skills to propose solutions for contemporary issues related to zakat in society. Lastly, the graduates are not only having knowledge and understanding in syariah related to zakat but also demonstrate the excellent skills of leadership, entrepreneurship, career and success in their daily life.

• Possesses a SPM with at least 3 credits and a PASS in Mathematics or its equivalent; OR

• A pass in Skill Certificate at Level 3 (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia, SKM) in related fields and possesses a SPM with a minimum of 1 credit; OR

• A recognised Certificate (Level 3, MQF) or equivalent in MIF or related fields; OR

• A pass in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM)/ Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) or its equivalen; AND

• A Pass in the Arabic language at SPM level or equivalent (for any candidate without a pass in the Arabic language at SPM level or equivalent is required to undergo Arabic language enhancement course at the beginning of the programme; AND

• Having relevant working experience at least 6 month; AND

• At least 20 years old and above; OR

• Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian Government.
