The Bachelor of Education with Honors (Tahfiz AlQuran and Al-Qiraat Education) provides education and training in the field of education with special emphasis on Tahfiz Al-Quran and AlQiraat Education. The courses offered emphasize on the aspects of Tahfiz, Qiraat, methodology and pedagogy of Tahfiz Teaching. These courses provide an opportunity for students whose interested in education, especially Tahfiz to gain exposure to theories, applications and the latest issues that will produce future educators who are not only knowledgeable in the field of Tahfiz and pedagogy but also Qiraat. The goal of this program is to produce graduates who are knowledgeable and have practical skills in the field of Education Tahfiz Al-Quran and Qiraat to face the diversity of curriculum in the context of current education.
Admission Requirements
Malaysian Students
Passed Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM) with (NGMP 2.00) in 2 subjects and one of them in a subject related to Islamic Studies; OR
Passed a qualification equivalent to STPM such as A-level, provided that the candidate passes at least one Islamic Studies subject in the qualification; OR
Passed a Matriculation program or a qualification recognized as a Foundation of Islamic Studies with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
Passed with Jayyid overall grade in Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM); OR
Possess a Diploma in Tahfiz al-Quran al-Quran and al-Qiraat (Level 4, MOH) with a minimum CGPA of 2,000 of 4.00; OR
Diploma (Level 4, MOH) recognized in Islamic Studies or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00; OR
Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Malaysian government; AND
Has a recognized Tahfiz Certificate of 30 juzu ’; AND
Pass an internal interview.

In addition, graduates can also participate in other industries such as Tourism, Media, Human Resources and the Religious Department. Graduates have the opportunity to hold positions as Islamic affairs officers in government departments. Graduates also have the opportunity to own their own company by offering professional development training to the public or companies or become consultants, entrepreneurs of educational institutions, entrepreneurs of Education as well as become a da’ie or motivator.
