This programme provides education and training in the field of education with special emphasis on English and multimedia. The courses offered emphasize on the aspects of English, methodology, English teaching pedagogy as well as multimedia. These courses provide opportunities for students who are interested in the field of education, particularly English, to gain exposure to theories, applications and the latest issues which will produce future educators who are not only knowledgeable in English and pedagogy but also multimedia.
Admission Requirements
Malaysian Students
Passed Malaysian High School Certificate (STPM) (CGPA of 2.0) or equivalent and obtained at least a Grade C (NGMP 2.0) in General Studies/ Literature in English/ Information and Communication Technology; or
Passed Unified Examination Certificate (EUC) with at least Grade B in five (5) subjects; or
Passed matriculation/ foundation program from any public or private institutions which are allowed to offer foundation program with CGPA of at least 2.00; or
Diploma (Level 4 KKM) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 or
Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia and
Passed interview.
Achieved a Band 4 in MUET or any equivalent English proficiency test, comparable to the Lower B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
