Programme Background |
Programme's Objective:

Apply advanced knowledge in specific areas or comparative law or Shariah law.

Have a high level of understanding, research and analytical skills to provide quality research and services to the public and private sectors.

Admission Requirements |
Malaysian Students |

Bachelor's Degree in Law or Syariah from any local and foreign university recognized by the Government of Malaysia with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent as accepted by the HEP Senate; or

Bachelor's Degree in Law or Syariah by not meeting a CGPA of 2.75 but exceeding a CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualification is acceptable and subject to careful internal evaluation of the HEP; or
-
Bachelor's Degree in Law or Shariah under a CGPA of 2.50 out of 4.00 or its equivalent qualification is acceptable and subject to a minimum of 5 years of work experience.
International Students |

Must meet the English language requirement with a minimum score of 600 for the Test as English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) OR 100 for the online TOEFL test OR a score of 6.0 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) OR equivalent.

Graduates who have completed this program have ample opportunities in most of the public and private sectors who are directly or indirectly involved with the administration, law, law and syarie judiciary as well as the education sector in Malaysia. Graduates who have taken this course have the opportunity to apply for jobs at institutions such as the Malaysian Islamic Development Department (JAKIM), Malaysian Syariah Judiciary Department (JKSM), Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development, State Islamic Religious Department, State Islamic Religious Council.
