Master of Education (Language Education) is an ideal program for educators who intend to enhance skills and knowledge in the teaching and learning of language education. Students will be exposed to skills and methodology which are relevant to the needs of research and current education.
Admission Requirements
Malaysian Students
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 as accepted by UIS Senate.;OR
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.; OR
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and not meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of (5) years working experience in the related field.
International Students
International students must obtain at least a minimum English Language entry requirement;
Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Test iBT 33.;OR
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Band 4.5, OR
Malaysian University English Test (MUET) Band 3.0
If not available, candidates should attend English Language course in UIS or in any institutions to obtain minimum entry requirement.
