This program is designed to produce experts who are able to improve their knowledge related to research and educational theories to solve relevant problems in the field of comparative religion.

Admission Requirementstitle bottom left g 4
Malaysian Students
  1. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the HEP Senate; or

  2. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or

  3. A bachelor’s degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field and rigorous internal assessment.

  4. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or relevant working experience must undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the HEP and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (iii)

International Students
  • International students must meet the English language requirement with a minimum score of 550 for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) OR a score of 5.5 for the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

  • Graduates who have participated in this program have the opportunity to fill positions as academics, lecturers, and researchers in public or private Higher Education Institutions, Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), Ministry of Home Affairs, State Islamic Religious Departments, State Islamic Religious Council, as well as other relevant bodies.
