Programme Background

The Diploma in Islamic Banking specializes in studies in the basics of Islamic and conventional banking and exposes students to the basics of the Islamic and conventional financial systems. It also exposes students to the application of shariah contracts in products and services offerings, operational aspects in Islamic banking institutions, financial management, corporate governance, investment, risk management and other related fields.

Admission Requirements

Malaysian Students

Pass SPM with at least 3 credits and pass Mathematics or its equivalent; or
Pass STPM or equivalent with at least Grade C (NGMP 2.00) in one (1) subject; or
Pass STAM with Maqbul; or
Pass in Skill Certificate level 3 (Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia, SKM) in a related field and have a minimum SPM of 1 credit; or
Pass in a recognize certificate (level 3, MQF) or equivalent in MIF or related fields; with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; or
Other relevant equivalent qualifications recognised by Malaysian Government.
