This program has been offered since 2003. The course is conducted for 2 years 6 months (ie 5 semesters). The field standards for this course are to cover law & syariah that comply with MQA standards. The current number of students is estimated at 213 students

• Passed in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) with at least credit in any THREE (3) subjects; or any equivalent qualification OR

• Passed in Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) Level 3 in a related field, and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 credit in any subject OR

• Any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF).OR

• Passed in Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), with a minimum of Grade C (GP 2.0) in any subject; or any equivalent qualificationOR

• Passed in STAM with a minimum grade of Maqbul (pass);OR

• Other qualifications recognized as equivalent by the Government of Malaysia.

Additional Terms - Students without basic Arabic language:

• Require to sit for the Arabic Placement Test before the Letter of Offer is issued;

• Students who have succeeded in Arabic placement test will be offered to any related programmes in KUIS;

• Students who fail in Arabic Language Testing, Letter of Offer will not be issued by KUIS. Students are required to attend the Arabic Intensive Course (KIBA) at KUISCeLL for the period minimum 6 months and maximum a year (KIBA Offer Letter will be issued by KUISCeLL).

• Fulfill the English Language Competency Requirements as follows: IELTS 4.0/ CEFR A2 or equivalent to TOEFL PBT (397) or TOEFL IBT (30-31) or CAE (160) (Cambridge English: Advance)/ CEFR B2 or CPE (180) (Cambridge English: Proficiency)/ CEFR C1 or PTE (Pearson Test of English) (30) or MUET (Malaysian University English Test) (Band 2)

• Assistant Registrar in Syariah Court
• Legal Aid at Private Law Firms & Legal Aid Bureau
• Research Assistant at the Sharia Justice Department Malaysia
• Assistant Officer @ Counselor at Family Counseling & Development Division
